Nu even challenge nr. 13 bij Ribbon Girl Blog http://ribbongirls.blogspot.com/en daar is het thema roze en wit.
Heb er een verjaardagskaart van gemaakt, vond het niet echt kerstig.
Ik stuur hem ook in voor Just Magnolia http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/, zij hebben 'anything goes' met als extra sparkling. Dat doen de vlinders en het lint heeft ook een mooi zilverlijntje erin en een mooie glans.
Nu weer verder met kerst.......

Leuk om te combineren dus.

Just a note....

Het is mooi weer buiten maar toch kan ik het niet laten om een kaartje te maken. Hoezo verslaafd.....!!
Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor de challenge bij Double Dutch http://doubledutchchallenges.blogspot.com/ daar moet je een dubbele pocketkaart maken. Dat leek me wel leuk.
Omdat ik ook een Magnolia heb gebruikt stuur ik hem ook in voor Just Magnolia Challenge http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/. Daar is het Anything Goes met gebruik van kant. Ook dat lukt wel.
Ik heb er 2 labels bijgemaakt, dat vond ik wel leuk om eens te doen. ( foto hieronder )

Special card

Dit wordt een lang verhaal vandaag.

It will be a long story today.

Vandaag een hele speciale kaart die heb ik gemaakt voor mijn oudste dochter. Zij wordt volgende week 25 jaar oud, een kwart-eeuw. Toch wel heel speciaal.
Het was superleuk om deze boekkaart te maken, was wel veel werk maar zeer de moeite waard.
Ik ga hem ook voor verschillende challenge insturen.
Hierboven zie je de gesloten buitenkant.

Today a very special card that I made for my eldest daughter. She becomes next week 25 years old, a special age.
It was so much fun to make this bookcard, lots of work but it was worth it.
I'm going to send it in for several challenges.

Dit is de binnenkant. Hier zie je goed de boekvorm. Je kunt hier een leuk klein kadootje instoppen als je dat wilt. Ik heb er een geurzakje ingedaan.

This is the inside. Here you can see the bookform. It's possible to put a little present in it. I used a bag with flowersmells in it.

De kaart als hij helemaal leeg is zodat je de binnenkant goed kunt zien.

Dit kaart je heb ik gisterenavond gemaakt en zojuist op de foto gezet. Dat is dus helemaal niet mooi met kunstlicht. Zal dat zaterdag nog wel even overdoen met daglicht maar voor nu moet het ermee door kunnen omdat de kaart voor de challenge van Just Magnolia is http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ en dus op tijd binnen moet zijn. Het thema was "anything goes with sparkle". Nou dat zit er genoeg in dus.
Ik vond het papier zo mooi dat ik heet eenvoudig heb gehouden zodat het ook nog zichtbaar blijft.

I made this card yesterday evening en made the photo just now. I'm afraid it's not that good. I'll make another one by daglight on saturday and replace this one. I have to place it now because it's a challenge of Just Magnolia http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ and it's time to place it now.

Het is wel een bijzonder kaartje wat hij is bestemd voor de dochter van onze ex-boy uit Oman, ze heet Jisra.
Ze gaat trouwen op 3 oktober. Wij hebben een uitnodiging,  maar ja ze trouwt in India en daar ga je toch niet zomaar even heen. Wel jammer, had het wel willen meemaken. Stuur nu dit kaartje aan het jonge paar.

Gisteren dit kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Just Magnolia http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/  en Cuttlebug Challenge http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com/.
Meestal doe ik liever aan challenges mee waar je echt wordt beoordeeld op je kaart en niet waar random een winnaar wordt gekozen. Soms doe ik toch mee omdat de sketch of opdracht leuk is.
Dit stempeltje heb ik pas gekocht en wilde daar wat mee doen en de opdracht bij Magnolia én Cuttlebug Challenge was om acetaat te gebruiken. Weer eens wat anders, dus toch een poging ondernomen.
Ik vind hem wel leuk geworden. Jullie ook?

Most of the time I join the challenges where they look at your card and then pick a winner. I don't like the challenge with a random choice, but somethimes there is a nice sketch or theme.
This stamp I bought a few weeks ago and I wanted to make a card with it. Magnolia en Cuttlebug Challeng had in their challenge to use acetate. So I give it a try.

Again a sort of valentinescard. The colours are a little bit bad because of my scanner. In real the colours are more pastel.

Ik ben weer helemaal into the challenges.... Dit keer van Just Magnolia (http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/).

Dit was weer een echte uitdaging qua kleur.

Het papier heb ik onlangs in Noorwegen gekocht en is Änttigen van Maja Design. Niet zo bekend hier dus, wel mooi. Het lint kocht ik in Oman (Midden-Oosten), een internationale kaart dus....

De stempel is van de laatste winterkit van Magnolia (copics), de tekst is van Hero Arts, de bloemen zijn gemaakt met een stans én embossingstencil van Crealies.

This was a real challenge because of the use of colours.

The paper I bought lately in Norway and is from Änttigen from Maja Design. Not so known here, but beautiful. The bow I bought in Oman (middle East), so this is a very international card....

Wat een lieve stempel is dit toch!

Again it became an autumncard. I don't where the papeer came from, but it's beautiful. The image is ofcourse a Magnolia and the sentiment is from Penny Black. The flowers are made with a retro flower punch and a daisy punch.
