Schaatsende Don

Vandaag is het mijn beurt om iets te plaatsen voor het blog van Don & Daisy http://donendaisy.blogspot.com/. al heeft het wel wat meer moeite gekost door mijn gezondheidsproblemen dan normaal.

Ik heb de schaatsende Don gebruikt, enerzijds omdat hij gewoon leuk is en anderzijds omdat het afgelopen week lekker aan het vriezen was.

Wat is er dan lekkerder dan een kopje hete chocolademelk!

Dat is wat er namelijk binnenin de kaart zit verborgen.

Today it my turn to place a card on the blog from Don & Daisy.
I used skating Don because he very cute. Last week is was freezing here and I thought that this was a great opportunity to use Don here.
Inside you can find a bag with chocolatepowder to make chocolatemilk for the cold weather.

Merry Christmas....

Gisteren ben ik heerlijk met 2 challenges bezig geweest. Dit is er ééntje van en gemaakt voor 2 blogs.
Hij doet mee bij Dutch Card Lovers http://dutchcardlovers.blogspot.com/, zij hebben een recept waarbij je het volgende moet gebruiken: Label, Die of Diecut, zelfgemaakte bloem, kersttekst/afbeelding en lint.
De andere challenge is van Scrap-cards Challenge blog http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.com/ en zij willen kerstbomen zien.
Ik heb gekozen voor een labelkaart met papier uit een scrapkit van Simpel-Scrappen.

Yesterday I was busy with 2 challenges. Here is one of them and made for 2 blogs.
One challenge is from Dutch Card Lovers http://dutchcardlovers.blogspot.com/ and they had a receipe. You have to use: Label, Die of Diecut, selfmade flower, Christmassentiment/image and ribbon.
The other one is from Scrap-Cards Challenge Blog http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.com/, they want to see Christmastrees.
I chose for a labelcard with paper from the scrapkit from Simpel-Scrappen.

Het is buiten superzonnig en toch kijkt dit hele lieve meisje niet zo vrolijk, eerder dromerig......
Het is een digistamp van Sugar Nellie maar wel een hele mooie (vind ik).
Veel versiering heeft hij dan ook niet nodig.
Ik wil hem insturen voor de challenge bij Sr@p-Cards Challenge http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.com/, daar is dit keer een vrije keuze.

Weer eens wat anders gemaakt voor de challenge van Scrap-Cards Challenge  http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.com/. De kaart mocht niet vierkant of rechthoekig zijn. Dat is deze toch echt niet.
Was weer erg leuk om te maken.

This was so cute to make.

Special card

Dit wordt een lang verhaal vandaag.

It will be a long story today.

Vandaag een hele speciale kaart die heb ik gemaakt voor mijn oudste dochter. Zij wordt volgende week 25 jaar oud, een kwart-eeuw. Toch wel heel speciaal.
Het was superleuk om deze boekkaart te maken, was wel veel werk maar zeer de moeite waard.
Ik ga hem ook voor verschillende challenge insturen.
Hierboven zie je de gesloten buitenkant.

Today a very special card that I made for my eldest daughter. She becomes next week 25 years old, a special age.
It was so much fun to make this bookcard, lots of work but it was worth it.
I'm going to send it in for several challenges.

Dit is de binnenkant. Hier zie je goed de boekvorm. Je kunt hier een leuk klein kadootje instoppen als je dat wilt. Ik heb er een geurzakje ingedaan.

This is the inside. Here you can see the bookform. It's possible to put a little present in it. I used a bag with flowersmells in it.

De kaart als hij helemaal leeg is zodat je de binnenkant goed kunt zien.

Paas/voorjaarsmandje

Het is alweer bijna PASEN en natuurlijk horen daar paaseitjes bij. Wat is er nu leuker om ze te verpakken in zo'n leuk mandje of tasje.

It's almost EASTER and  for Easter we eat lots of chocolateggs. To give them away is more fun in such a lovely giftbag.

2 Challenges in één

Vandaag een dubbele uitdaging, de sketch is van Create4fun (http://create4fun-challenge.blogspot.com/) en de andere uitdaging is van Scrap Card Challengeblog (http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.com/), daarvoor moest een kerstkaart gemaakt worden in een andere kleur dan het standaard rood en groen.

Het was erg leuk en uitdagend om die combinatie te proberen.

Het papier is van Rahyer, de stempel is van Magnolia (copics)en de tekst van Kars. De sneeuwvlokken zijn geponsd. De mutsranden zijn gemaakt met True Snow van Aleene's.

Voorlopig even de laatste kaart want ik ga een paar dagen naar Noorwegen met mijn schoonmoeder. We gaan mijn man bezoeken..

Today I made a double challenge. The sketch is from Create4fun (http://create4fun-challenge.blogspot.com/) and the other challenge is from Scrap Card Challengeblog (http://scrapcardschallengeblog.blogspot.com/)

That challenge was to make a christmascard with another colour than red and green.
It was fun and a challenge to try and I think the result is acceptable.
The paper is from Rahyer, the image from Magnolia (copics) and the sentiment is from a Kars sheet. The snowflakes are made with several punches. The border of the bonnet is made with True Snow from Aleene's.
This card is my last for the first couple of days because I'm going to Norway wit my mother-in-law for some days. W're going to visit my hubby.
